Next time (or if it happens again), I will just do the same. ![]() I ended up doing a factory reset on my HL-元290CDW printer and entering the SSID and key in manually and everything has been fine since. I spent a good amount of time with some suggested fixes and also re-creating new networks and trying to get my printer back to the original LAN. Should I give up and set up a printserver or does anyone have suggestions for how to get a brother printer to work with Unifi wifi APs? This lasted for a couple weeks and then reverted to the previous behavior. I updated to 4.8 and the printer started working. ![]() Routing is provided by the cable modem Netgear C7100V.Īfter much fighting, a firmware upgrade became available to my APs. It will still respond to ping.īoth an AP-AC_PRO and an AP-nanoHD are within range of the printer. After a little while(hours), it stops responding. When I try to access the builtin webpage, I can not connect unless I've just recently rebooted the printer. I can ping the printer and it responds just fine. ![]() My Unifi controller software shows the printer as connected to the network but there is something wrong with the setup. I've read online about several settings to try and adjust but nothing is working. The issue I'm having is that my Brother printer no longer works. I have recently decided to try out some Ubiquity APs to upgrade my wifi.
